The 'DoorSynch' Windows Service is an ACTAtek software application that facilitates the management of ACTAtek door access control units. This is similar to the 'DoorSynch' Windows Application, but the Windows Service enables updates to be run automatically, on a regular basis.

This .Net 2 Windows Service enables the user-set of an ACTAtek unit to be synchronized with that of an external data source.

The data sources that are currently supported are:

Janus security systems.
SQL-Server 2005 databases.
MySQL databases.
MS-Access databases.
MS-Excel spreadsheets.
CSV data files.

The software distribution also includes the DoorSynch Service Manager, which is a Windows application that enables the update service to be configured and controlled.

DoorSynchSvc is an RCRT software application has been developed in partnership with Cambridge ICT.
The current version of the DoorSynch service is: DoorSynchSvc-1.0

DoorSynch Support For Janus

DoorSynch includes an interface that enables it to synchronise ACTATek user-sets with a Janus security system directly, enabling ACTAtek user-sets to be updated automatically from a Janus database as and when necessary.

This solution is used, for example, by Trinity Hall, Cambridge.
