» The Stibium™ Naming and Directory Server

The Stibium™ Naming & Directory Server runs enables data and Java objects to be encoded and stored in the form of xml within hierarchical database-document structures, together with any associated attribute data and/or meta-data. Stibium is deployed as a web-service module, that runs within the Apache Tomcat web server.

Stibium makes these objects and data available via JNDI-compliant naming and directory services, that can be accessed by distributed clients via SOAP xml web services. The server maintains a hierarchical structure of named bindings which can be shared and manipulated by web-enabled clients and other agents active on 'the grid'. More ...

» The RCRT XML-Space

The RCRT XML-Space is a technology developed by us to underpin our range of distributed and parallel processing solutions. The RCRT XML-Space provides xml-oriented Linda/Javaspace-like features, with a range of proprietary extensions. Our XML-Space can be run, either within the Apache Tomcat web server, or as a stand-alone application.

Our implementation supports access via a number of transport technologies: SOAP xml web-services, Jini, RMI, standard TCP-IP and AJAX.

The on-line examples show the application of this technology in a range of areas, including: mathematical computing, cryptography, our GAVONTS technology, astrophysical modelling and advanced portfolio analysis. More ...

» The Exciton Framework

The Exciton Framework supports distributed and parallel computing using mobile-agents that can move around between available host servers, as necessary. Exciton agents are xml/java-based quasi-autonomous rcrt soliton-agents.

Populations of Exciton mobile agents provide one-another with dynamic space-oriented distributed and parallel computing services. These agents can relocate themselves, are loosely coupled, and collaborate using xml-space messaging.

Exciton solution-spaces provide a powerful technological paradigm. Exciton enables populations of quasi-autonomous software agents to be released into a network, providing services to one-another, and moving between host servers, as appropriate. More ...
