The Stibium Naming and Directory Server v3.2.0 Has Been Released
Version 3.2.0 of the 'Stibium' naming and directory server has now been released. This release includes an updated version of the Stibium .Net Client Library, which enables Stibium to also be used by .Net software clients. There is also a set of NUnit Test Suites for the .Net client library.
This version also includes a number of other enhancements, including the ability to configure the Stibium namespace's naming syntax.
The DoorSynch Service v1.0 Has Been Released
Version 1.0 of the 'DoorSynch' Windows service has been released. This is a Windows service which enables the user-sets of ACTAtek door control units to be automatically synchronized with external data sources/systems at regular intervals.
The DoorOpen Application v1.1 Has Been Released
Version 1.1 of the 'DoorOpen' Windows application has been released. This application enables security doors that are managed by ACTAtek units to be opened remotely, and also enables any associated network cameras to be viewed.
The DoorSynch Application v2.0 Has Been Released
Version 2.0 of the 'DoorSynch' Windows application has been released. This application enables the user-sets of ACTAtek door control units to be synchronized with external data sources/systems on demand. The data sources that are currently supported include: Janus systems, SQL Server 2005 databases, MySQL databases, MS-Access databases, MS Excel spreadsheets and CSV files.

We have made the GAVONTS pages on our web site publicly accessible. GAVONTS - Genetic Algorithm Vector Optimised Nonlinear Transformations - is a technology which uses virtual-world evolution and natural selection to model complex mathematical problems. We have included an example in which this technology has been used to create a control system algorithm for a spacecraft lander, without any human input or guidance. Applications for GAVONTS include: credit risk scoring, Insurance risk estimation and advanced risk analysis.

The On-line Portfolio Model Is Now Publicly Accessible.
We have now made our on-line portfolio credit risk model demonstration publicly accessible. This model runs its calculations within a client browser, and then displays graphs of portfolio loss distributions for the input parameters entered by the user. This model enables the effect of changing these parameters on the shape of the computed credit loss distribution to be visualised.
